Verified by Meta

Tiram is a Meta-verified WhatsApp Business Tech Provider

In one line

Meta has reviewed and verified Tiram as a Tech Provider on the WhatsApp Business Platform. In practical terms: your shop connects its own WhatsApp Business number in a few clicks, Meta bills you directly for the messages you send at its own published rates, and every WhatsApp feature — invoice delivery, campaigns, approved templates, delivery receipts — runs inside Tiram instead of a separate messaging product you subscribe to on the side.

What Meta actually verified

Tech Provider status on the WhatsApp Business Platform
Tiram is enrolled with Meta as a Tech Provider — the partner type for software vendors that connect their customers' own WhatsApp Business accounts. Our Meta app carries the Verified Tech Provider badge.
Business verification passed
Tiram Technologies completed Meta's business verification. An unverified app cannot onboard real customers in production, only test numbers.
App review approved for production
Meta granted advanced access to the two permissions the integration needs — WhatsApp business management and business messaging — after reviewing the app. That approval is what lets any customer connect, not just test numbers.
Embedded Signup enabled
Meta's own hosted onboarding flow is switched on for our app. It is why connecting is a Facebook login popup rather than a copy-paste of tokens and app secrets.
Coexistence onboarding unlocked
Meta permits coexistence — running one number on the WhatsApp Business app and the Cloud API at once — only through a Solution Partner or Tech Provider. The verification is precisely what lets you keep your existing WhatsApp Business number instead of registering a fresh one.

What the verification gets you

A licence is only interesting if it changes something on your side of the screen. Here is exactly what it changes.

  • You connect in a few clicks, not a few days

Because Meta's Embedded Signup flow is enabled for our reviewed app, connecting WhatsApp is a login popup: sign in to Facebook, choose your business and your phone number, done. There are no tokens, app IDs, or app secrets to generate and paste anywhere.

The manual path — creating your own Meta app and copying four values across — still exists in Tiram for teams that want that control, and takes about ten minutes.

  • You keep the number your customers already message

Because Meta reserves coexistence onboarding for verified partners, Tiram can connect the number already running on your WhatsApp Business app. Your staff carry on replying by hand in the app while Tiram sends invoices and campaigns on the same number — no new number, and nothing deleted to make room.

Up to six months of chat history and all your WhatsApp contacts can sync during onboarding. Meta caps a coexistence number at 20 messages per second and disables a few app features — the coexistence guide lists every trade-off.

  • The WhatsApp account is yours, permanently

The WhatsApp Business Account created during signup is registered to your business. Your number, your display name, your approved templates, your quality rating. If you ever stop using Tiram, none of it is held hostage.

This is inherent to the Tech Provider model, not a promise we invented: Meta's partner documentation places account ownership with the onboarded business, not the provider.

  • Meta bills you for messages — we take no cut

Under the Tech Provider model you add your own payment method to Meta, and Meta charges you for message usage at its published conversation rates. Tiram adds no per-message fee, no bundled message allowance to run out of, and no markup.

There is no message metering and no message-credit balance anywhere in Tiram's billing. Your Tiram subscription and your Meta message bill are separate, and only Meta's grows with volume.

  • You can cap your own WhatsApp spend

Because Meta bills you on usage, Tiram lets you set an optional spend ceiling per message category — utility and marketing separately — over a daily, weekly, or monthly window. A campaign that would exceed it is blocked before it sends, not after.

No ceiling is set by default; it stays off until you pick a figure. The campaign builder shows estimated cost and remaining headroom before you launch.

  • It is one product, not two subscriptions

Invoice delivery, marketing campaigns, template management, contact opt-outs, delivery and read receipts, and connection diagnostics are all screens in Tiram, working off the same customer list as your billing. There is no separate messaging inbox to buy, learn, and reconcile.

Customers, invoices, and WhatsApp activity share one database, so a campaign audience is a filter on your real customer list rather than a CSV you exported and re-uploaded.

  • Failures are visible instead of silent

Direct platform access means Tiram receives Meta's delivery updates itself. Every message shows Queued, Sent, Delivered, or Read; a channel health card tracks delivery rate, read rate, failures, and opt-outs; and a diagnostics page lists every raw event Meta sent.

Incoming events are signature-verified against the app secret before they are accepted, so a spoofed delivery receipt cannot fake a Delivered status.

Three ways billing software can do WhatsApp

Not every WhatsApp feature in a billing app is the same thing. These are the three models on the market, and it is worth knowing which one you are actually buying.

Which Tiram plan includes WhatsApp?

WhatsApp is included from the Gold plan and on Platinum. The Silver plan does not include WhatsApp — connecting a number, sending invoices, running campaigns, managing templates, and the diagnostics screens are all Gold and above.

The Tech Provider verification is not a separate add-on or an extra fee. It is simply how Tiram's WhatsApp integration works on every plan that includes WhatsApp. Meta's per-conversation message charges are billed to you by Meta and stay separate from your Tiram subscription on any plan.

One thing every plan gets, Silver included: a free Share on WhatsApp button that opens WhatsApp with your invoice link filled in. That is the share-link model in the table above — no API account, no approval, no connection needed.

What the verification does not mean

  • It does not make your messages free

Meta charges per conversation, and it charges you, not us. Utility messages such as an invoice a customer is expecting are the cheap category; marketing messages cost more. Tiram shows an estimated cost before a campaign goes out, but the bill comes from Meta.

  • It does not skip your own business verification

Our verification covers our app. Your business still needs to be verified with Meta to unlock higher sending limits and more phone numbers — that is your side of the setup, and it is the first thing the Meta setup guide walks through.

  • It does not get your message templates auto-approved

Every template you use to start a conversation is reviewed by Meta, not by us. Approval is usually quick, and Tiram surfaces pending and rejected states clearly, but no provider can approve a template on Meta's behalf.

  • It is not the same as a Meta Business Partner badge

Tech Provider is Meta's partner type for software vendors that onboard customers onto the WhatsApp Business Platform. It is a verified production status, not a marketing-tier award, and we describe it as exactly that.

Common questions

Is Tiram an official WhatsApp Business Platform provider?
Yes. Tiram is enrolled with Meta as a Tech Provider, and our Meta app carries the Verified Tech Provider badge with business verification and app review approved for production use.
Who owns the WhatsApp Business Account — me or Tiram?
You do. The account is provisioned in your business's name during signup, and your number, display name, and approved templates remain yours if you stop using Tiram.
Can I keep my existing shop WhatsApp number?
Yes. Tiram's Connect with Facebook runs Meta's coexistence flow, which onboards the number already on your WhatsApp Business app — staff keep replying in the app while Tiram sends on the same number. Meta allows this only through verified partners.
Who charges me for WhatsApp messages?
Meta does, directly, at its own published conversation rates. Tiram adds no per-message fee, no message allowance, and no markup.
Do I need my own Meta developer app to use WhatsApp in Tiram?
No. Because Embedded Signup is enabled for Tiram's verified app, you connect through a Facebook login popup. A manual path using your own Meta app is still available if you prefer that control.
How is this different from a Share on WhatsApp button?
A share button opens WhatsApp with a message pre-filled for you to send by hand — no automation, no delivery receipts, no campaigns. Tiram includes that free on every plan, but the Tech Provider connection is what makes automatic sending and tracking possible.
Do I need a paid plan to use the WhatsApp integration?
WhatsApp is included from the Gold plan and on Platinum. The Silver plan does not include it.
