Get your shop's day on your own WhatsApp

Switch on the daily business summary and Tiram messages your own WhatsApp number with today's sales, the month so far, what customers owe you, how many are overdue and how many items are low on stock. It is off until you turn it on, and every figure is the one the dashboard shows.

Where you turn it on
Settings → WhatsApp → Daily business summary
How often
Never (the default), every day, or every Monday
Where it goes
Your business number, or any number you type — a partner or your accountant

Who this is for

A dashboard only works for the person who opens it. This is for the days nobody does.

You don't open the app every day
The numbers come to you instead. A GST or collection problem you'd have seen on the dashboard is not waiting for you to log in.
Someone else runs the counter
You get the day's takings and bill count without asking, and without standing over anyone's shoulder.
You plan the week on Monday morning
Choose the weekly summary: it arrives on Monday, describing where the business stands as you decide what this week looks like.
Your accountant or partner needs the same picture
Point the summary at their number instead of yours. It is one field, not a second account.

What arrives on your phone

One message, six numbers, no app to open. This is an example — the wording is whatever you put in your own template.

From your own WhatsApp Business number, to the number you chose

Ravi Traders — 28-Jul-2026

Sales today: ₹12,400 across 18 bills.

This month: ₹2,86,500 sold, ₹1,92,300 net cash.

Customers owe you ₹48,750, with 6 overdue.

4 items are low on stock.

Today's sales and bill count
Today's billed revenue and how many bills produced it — the fastest read on whether the day was normal.
Month to date
Revenue sold so far this month, and net cash after money out, so a good sales month with no cash in it can't hide.
Outstanding and overdue
Total credit customers owe you, and how many of them are past due — the two numbers that decide whether tomorrow needs a reminder run.
Low stock count
How many items have fallen to or below their reorder level, so buying decisions don't wait for a stock-out.

Every figure comes from the same calculation the dashboard uses — not a separate query written for the message. A summary that quoted a different number than the screen it summarises would destroy trust in both.

Turning it on

Two screens, once. After that it arrives on its own.

  1. Get a summary template approved

On the WhatsApp Templates screen, start from the My daily business summary starter — it already carries the sales, cash, outstanding, overdue and low-stock placeholders — edit the wording, and submit it to Meta.

  2. Mark it with Use for my daily summary

That designation is what the summary sends with. Without it nothing goes out, and the settings card says so rather than failing quietly.

  3. Choose how often, and when

In Settings → WhatsApp, set Send me to every day or every Monday, and pick the hour. The hour is in Indian Standard Time, the same clock you set it in.

  4. Choose the number it goes to

Leave it as your business number, or type another one. This is the only message in Tiram addressed to you rather than to a customer.

  5. Save it

The card confirms Summary settings saved. Nothing else to schedule, and nothing for you to remember.

  6. Check tomorrow's arrival

The first summary is the test. If it doesn't come, the table below names every reason it can be skipped — and each reason is recorded, not guessed at.

When the summary doesn't arrive

A message that silently stops is worse than one that never started. Each of these cases is recorded with its reason, readable by support.

Every case where a due summary produces no message.
SituationWhat happensWhy

No summary template designated, or it isn't approved yet

Nothing is sent, and the reason is recorded against that day

There is no fallback wording to invent. Your template is the message.

Frequency is still set to Never

Nothing is sent, ever

Off is the default and stays it. An app that starts messaging a number nobody signed up is how a shop loses its number quality.

No usable number on the business or in the field

Skipped, with the reason naming the missing number

Better a recorded skip than a message to a malformed number.

The hour you set hasn't come round yet

It waits

Sending is at or after your chosen hour, so a late tick still delivers today's summary rather than skipping the day.

Today's (or this week's) summary already went

Nothing more is sent for that period

The period is claimed before the send, so two overlapping runs can't both message you.

Your spend ceiling or Meta's daily limit is exhausted

The summary is skipped, not queued ahead of customer messages

Your own summary is never worth pre-empting a customer's invoice or reminder.

What it records

One message a day should still be accountable.

One claim per period

Each day (or week) is claimed before the send, which is what guarantees exactly one summary per period even across restarts.

The reason, when there is one

A skipped summary keeps its reason, so "why didn't I get Tuesday's?" is answerable from the record rather than by re-running anything.

Why this can't become a nuisance

The summary is the one thing in the WhatsApp module that messages you rather than your customers. Five limits keep it welcome.

  • Off by default, and only you can turn it on. No trial, no upgrade and no update switches it on for you.

  • Exactly one message per period. Never two, even if a process restarts mid-send.

  • A missed minute doesn't lose the day — it is sent at or after your hour, so a late run still delivers today's numbers.

  • Never delivered late enough to be wrong. If a period's send genuinely can't happen, it is skipped with a reason rather than delivered hours later describing a moment that has passed.

  • Your customers are never in scope. This message goes to your own number, from your own number.

Which plan includes the daily business summary

The WhatsApp business summary is part of Tiram's WhatsApp module, included on the Gold and Platinum plans. The Silver plan does not include WhatsApp sending, so the summary is unavailable there.

The numbers themselves are not gated: today's sales, the cash position, outstanding credit and low-stock counts are all on the dashboard on every plan including Silver. Gold is what adds the message that brings them to your phone. Cloud and desktop are gated identically.

FAQs

Can I get a daily sales report on WhatsApp?
Yes. Turn on the daily business summary in Settings → WhatsApp, choose an hour, and Tiram messages your own number each day with today's sales, month-to-date figures, outstanding credit, overdue customers and low-stock count.
Is the summary on by default?
No. The frequency starts at Never and only you can change it — nothing in a trial, an upgrade or an update turns it on.
Can it go to my accountant instead of me?
Yes. The summary has its own number field, so you can point it at a partner or your accountant without giving them an account.
What time does the weekly summary arrive?
Every Monday, at or after the hour you set, in Indian Standard Time — reporting on the week that just closed.
Could I get the same summary twice?
No. Each day or week is claimed before the message is sent, so overlapping runs can never both deliver it.
Do the numbers match my dashboard exactly?
Yes — the summary reads the dashboard's own calculation rather than a separate one, so the message and the screen cannot disagree.
